Fabric Sheet Settings & Tips
These Settings were tested with the Cricut Maker. Please note that different machines, blades and mats may have different results.
Soft Faux Leather Sheets:
(These would be sheets that have a stretch to them and are a softer material.)
- Design Space Category- Leather
- Setting- Genuine Leather
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- More Pressure
- Fabric Face down
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Canvas Sheets:
(These would be sheets that are stiffer and are a canvas material.)
- Design Space Category- Leather
- Setting- Faux Leather (Paper Thin)
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- Default Pressure
- Fabric face either down or up
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Thin Transparent Jelly Sheets:
- Design Space Category- Plastic
- Setting- Gel Sheet
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- Default Pressure
- Fabric face either down or up
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
- Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.
- If sheet has a protective plastic covering on it remove prior to cutting.
Silicone Matte Jelly Sheets:
- Design Space Category- Leather
- Setting- Faux Leather (Paper Thin)
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- Default Pressure
- Fabric face either down or up
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
- Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.
Thicker Jelly Sheets:
- Design Space Category- Plastic
- Setting- Gel Sheet
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- More Pressure
- Fabric face either down or up
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
- Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.

Shimmer/Fine Glitter Sheets:
- Design Space Category- Fabric
- Setting- Denim, Bonded
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- Default Pressure
- Fabric face down if back is soft
- Fabric face up if back is canvas
- If placed face down be sure to tape the sides to prevent the sheet from moving during the cut.
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Chunky Glitter Fabrics:
- Design Space Category- Fabric
- Setting- Denim, Bonded
- Blade-Fine Point Blade
- More Pressure
- Fabric Face down
- Tape down the sides to prevent the sheet from moving during the cut.
- Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Reversible Sequin Fabrics:
- Design Space Category- Fabric
- Setting- Sequin
- Blade-Rotary Blade
- More Pressure
- Fabric Face down
- Tape down the sides to prevent the sheet from moving during the cut.
