Fabric Sheet Settings & Tips

These Settings were tested with the Cricut Maker. Please note that different machines, blades and mats may have different results.

Soft Faux Leather Sheets:

(These would be sheets that have a stretch to them and are a softer material.)

Canvas Sheets:

(These would be sheets that are stiffer and are a canvas material.)

Thin Transparent Jelly Sheets:

Design Space Category- Plastic
Setting- Gel Sheet
Blade-Fine Point Blade
Default Pressure
Fabric face either down or up
Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.
If sheet has a protective plastic covering on it remove prior to cutting.

Silicone Matte Jelly Sheets:

Design Space Category- Leather
Setting- Faux Leather (Paper Thin)
Blade-Fine Point Blade
Default Pressure
Fabric face either down or up
Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.

Thicker Jelly Sheets:

Design Space Category- Plastic
Setting- Gel Sheet
Blade-Fine Point Blade
More Pressure
Fabric face either down or up
Mat Strong Grip or Fabric
Mat may leave residue on the sheet you can remove using a damp cloth and wiping gently.
If sheet has a protective plastic covering on it remove prior to cutting.

Shimmer/Fine Glitter Sheets:

Design Space Category- Fabric
Setting- Denim, Bonded
Blade-Fine Point Blade
Default Pressure
Fabric face down if back is soft
Fabric face up if back is canvas
If placed face down be sure to tape the sides to prevent the sheet from moving during the cut.
