This is a high-quality steel rule die that has a foam layer to be compatible with the majority of Die cutting machines (Sizzix Big Shot, Big Shot Plus and Pro, and Cuttlebug). 

They will cut through a large variety of materials that include but are not limited to paper, faux leather, thick chunky glitter materials, genuine leather, etc. 

Due to the manufacturing process of dies, setting dies fit as close as possible in the coordinating hardware.
